The first Pasta Pomodoro was opened in San Francisco in 1994, and immediately became
a neighborhood fixture as the diverse Bay Area community embraced our fresh, simple
and authentic Northern Italian-inspired fare. We continue that tradition today and are proud to be
Bay Area’s own Pasta Pomodoro!

Our chef is passionate about every dish served and it shows, literally – our guests can watch their meal being prepared in our exhibition kitchens. Our diverse menu includes vegetarian specialties and gluten-sensitive options. Inspired by the freshest local produce, our seasonal menu is hand prepared with flavors you’ll love. Just like in Italy, where it’s all about ‘La Famiglia’, our restaurants are family friendly; we offer a healthful kids menu with many options.
